Lexian has been involved in many major sporting events that over the past sixteen years and has developed a strong expertise in event logistics management and technology. Major events in which Lexian has been involved include:

Sydney Olympics 2000
Lexian worked with Linfox who was the logistics provider to the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. Lexian principally provided transportation modeling expertise to the logistics department of the Sydney organizing committee to determine transport and vehicle scheduling requirements.
Athens Olympics 2004
Lexian provided logistics support to the Australian Team prior to and for the duration of the Athens Olympic Games. This involved the coordination of all freight to and from Athens and organizing the transportation requirements for the athletes and officials while in Athens.
Melbourne Commonwealth Games 2006
Lexian implemented the MDS component of the Event Manager Software to control and coordinate the scheduling of all forms of transportation during the Melbourne Games. The MDS scheduled some 13,000 catering, waste, bus and general deliveries to venues over the two week games period taking into consideration security checking, venue access and delivery time window requirements.
Beijing Olympic Games 2008
Lexian was appointed in December 2006 to provide the Event Manager MDS and WMS/AMS system to the Organising Committee of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The MDS module optimised the delivery of products and services (including catering, cleaning and fuel, etc.) across multiple venues each with multiple delivery points allowing for security checking, delivery window constraints and varying vehicle sizes and capacities. The WMS/AMS module managed and controlled the receiving, storage, dispatch and disposal of inventory across all warehouses and venues.

Lexian developed the entire web based WMS and AMS system for the Beijing Games complete with multi lingual capability. Lexian also tailored the MDS system specifically for the Organising Committee to meet the particular requirements of the games. The system was installed ready for use approximately six months prior to the games in time for a number of test events to ensure its smooth operation by the time the games commenced.

Singapore Youth Olympics 2010
Lexian was appointed in December 2009 to provide the Event Manager MDS and WMS/AMS system to the Organising Committee of the 2010 Youth Olympics. The MDS module optimised the delivery of products and services (including catering, cleaning and even garbage removal) across multiple venues each with multiple delivery points allowing for security checking, delivery window constraints and varying vehicle sizes and capacities. The WMS/AMS module managed and controlled the receiving, storage, dispatch and disposal of inventory across the warehouse and all venues.

Lexian, in conjunction with DHL (logistics provider) tailored the system specifically for the Organising Committee to meet the particular requirements of the games. The system was installed ready for a number of test events to ensure its smooth operation by the time the games commenced.

London Olympics 2012
Lexian provided logistics support to the Australian Team prior to and for the duration of the London Olympic Games. This involved the coordination of all freight to and from London and organizing the transportation requirements for the athletes and officials while in London.

Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014
Lexian was appointed in January 2013 to provide the Event Manager MDS and WMS/AMS system to the Organising Committee of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
